Saratoga Springs, New York, October 14, 2026 — Environmental nonprofit Sustainable Saratoga has announced a search for its first full-time Executive Director. The new role reflects the organization’s growing presence in the Saratoga Springs community. Kelsey Trudell, who has served as Executive Director for four years, will be stepping down. During her tenure, Kelsey has been instrumental in the organization’s success, helping build the programs and partnerships that define its work today.
Making the Executive Director role full time will give Sustainable Saratoga more capacity for local engagement and advocacy. It will also support continued stewardship of programming that has expanded significantly under Kelsey’s leadership.
“Our community has shown how much it cares about a sustainable future for the Saratoga area,” said Amy Durland, Board Chair. “A full-time Executive Director will help us build on that commitment and deliver even more meaningful results for our environment.”
The search is now underway. The next Executive Director is expected to begin in January 2027.
