EVENT DETAILS:

DATE: Saturday, June 18

TIME: 10 AM until 2 PM

LOCATION: Skidmore College (815 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY) in the Zankel Music Center Lower Parking Lot.

Current EV car and E-bike owners, and local dealers will be present from 10 am until 2 pm to answer questions about the electric car and bike experience.

Participating EV car models include:

  • Chevy Bolt EV
  • KIA EV6 Wind
  • Mustang Mach E
  • Tesla models 3
  • Tesla model S
  • Tesla model X

Join us at noon in Filene Hall to hear from some local speakers. Tina Carton, City of Saratoga Springs Administrator of Parks, Open Lands, Historic Preservation and Sustainability, will discuss the city’s EV Charging Infrastructure and Complete Streets Plans. Rayna Caldwell, Chair of the Saratoga Springs Climate Smart Task Force, will talk about the importance of reducing transportation emissions. Dr. Christopher McNally, Professor and Department Chair of Applied Technologies, Hudson Valley Community College will speak about HVCC’s degree, certificate, and training programs that support workforce development in the growing fields of EV transportation, autonomous vehicles, and charging infrastructure.
A representative from re:Charge-e will be attending with a charger that is under development for e-bikes, e-scooters, and other devices. Come learn more about this local entrepreneurial effort funded by a NYSERDA grant.
