If you picked up one of our seed packets at an event, here’s what you need to know to plant:

Northeast Native Wildflower seed mix

Lance-leaf Coreopsis, Butterfly Weed, Swamp Milkweed, Purple Coneflower, Blue False Indigo, Spotted Joe Pyeweed, Golden Alexanders, Black-eyed Susan, Lupine, Wild Bergamot, Blanket Flower, Partridge Pea, Hairy Beardtongue, Heath Aster, Smooth Blue Aster, New England Aster, Narrowleaf Mountain Mint, Brown-eyed Susan


Each seed packet will cover an area approximately 10 feet by 10 feet

  1. Plant in a sunny location
  2. Clear soil of other vegetation using hoe, rototill, solarize, or lasagna method
  3. Scatter seeds evenly
  4. Cover lightly with soil (many need light to germinate)
  5. Tamp the area down with hands or feet
  6. Water, water, water until established
