Board of Directors

Carla Fox

I grew up in Saratoga where my parents showed me the value of a walkable town and the joys of spending time outside, including many years as volunteer planters for Tree Toga. I studied sustainability and communications in college and grad school and began working at the intersection of business and sustainability. I managed the business member network for 1% for the Planet and led sustainability and philanthropy at Public Lands, a brand of the DICK’s Sporting Goods company. My husband and I (who also grew up in Saratoga) experienced life in various cities along the East Coast and were excited to move back to our beloved hometown after our daughter (now 2 years old) was born. Currently, I am the Director of Business Membership for The Conservation Alliance, an organization leveraging the business voice for conservation through grantmaking and advocacy. I’m an avid birder and passionate about composting, pollinator habitat, sustainable land use and urban forestry.
