Board of Directors
David Sayer
I have lived in Saratoga Springs for 20 years, joined by my wife, Mary, and our two daughters, Emily and Madeline, who currently live together in New York City. I work closely with the Beyond Plastics project and am one of their educational speakers as well as a founder of their grassroots off-shoot, the Beyond Plastics Virtual Group. By day I work in Information Technology as a Cloud Architect for Avanade / Accenture. It’s fully remote work with rotating clients in an ever-changing industry, so I love it. When I’m not doing my sustainability / plastic work, I enjoy cycling, tennis, playing piano and – yes – trash picking!
Where is your favorite place to connect with nature?
While you can find me regularly on the Skidmore North Woods trails, I am loving the newly opened Graphite Range Community Forest on Route 9 in Wilton. It genuinely feels like an Adirondack high peak approach with its rushing stream, yet it’s only minutes from town!
