I retired from my position as an executive financial officer with a global oil & gas manufacturing company in Houston, TX, in December 2014. As the investor relations officer, I spear-headed sustainability reporting in my industry.

Since my retirement, and relocating from Houston, TX, to Saratoga Springs in 2015, I have been highly active in issues affecting the quality of community life, including the arts, women’s reproductive health, improving the city’s governance model, and citizen’s access to the city’s budgeting process. I am a Tree Toga veteran having achieved master planter status. I am concerned about a balanced approach to development in our community that tempers commercial ambition with the need to save and preserve what makes us unique.

I live with my wife Janet (‘Bart’) of 38 years and our Wheaten Terrier, Pippa. I am a graduate of Cornell University, a CPA, and have no political affiliation.
