We’re a vibrant and growing not-for-profit advocacy organization with a mission to promote environmental and sustainable policies and practices in the Saratoga Springs area. We’re seeking a part time Executive Director to provide the leadership to take our organization forward.

The Executive Director will lead Sustainable Saratoga by working with the Board of Directors and staff to administer programs, develop advocacy positions and actions, cultivate a robust fundraising program, and collaborate with citizens and other organizations in the community and region. Part-time. Flexible work schedule. Job consists of both in-person and remote availability.

Qualifications: 

Knowledge, passion, and engagement with Sustainable Saratoga’s mission and activities, which include conservation of natural resources and indigenous species, climate change, reducing waste, urban forestry, and sustainable urban practices. 

Proven ability as an organization leader. Skilled at written and verbal communication. Understanding of advocacy organizations and the creative strategies that inspire success. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree(s) preferred.
