We’re looking for passionate people to join our growing team…
Our dedicated team is constantly working to amplify our local impact in service of our mission, and we need your help. If you are looking for rewarding opportunities where you can influence local policy and make Saratoga Springs a greener, more sustainable community, please get in touch with us. Thank you!
We are always looking for people that want to help out with sustainability initiatives.
Sustainable Saratoga is a volunteer-driven organization – we rely almost entirely on dedicated citizens to implement our initiatives, from planting trees to advocating for affordable housing to organizing community events like Saratoga Recycles Day. Check out the volunteer opportunities below. See something you are passionate about?Sign up as a volunteer today or email email@example.com for more information.
Do you want to get involved but don’t have a lot of spare time? Help out for a few hours by volunteering to staff a table at an event! We need volunteers to help us raise awareness about what we do at events like the Farmers’ Market and festivals. We often need volunteers to be able to accept the many requests we receive to participate in children’s events with nature or sustainability-themed crafts or interactive educational activities. We also need help at our larger events, such as Tree Toga, Saratoga Recycles Day and Repair Cafe. Just let us know you are interested in being on a list of volunteers and we will be in touch with you as new opportunities arise (email firstname.lastname@example.org).
Are you tech-savy? Volunteer to serve as a technical advisor! In addition to needing help with events, we also need help behind the scenes. Help us troubleshoot technology-related issues when they arise.
Do you have a solid working knowledge of WordPress? Let us know if we can contact you to help troubleshoot technical problems when they arise.
Do you have experience with Salesforce? Keeping track of our donors and volunteers is essential to expanding our impact in our community. Let us know if you have knowledge you are willing to share, particularly related to third party applications like Click&Pledge.
Do you enjoy website design? Our website is a key tool in keeping the community informed and mobilizing our supporters. This is a fun, creative way to help make Saratoga Springs a more sustainable community! Sustainable Saratoga is looking for a volunteer with web design expertise to help us improve our website.
If you’re looking to put your skills to use for a good cause and have a few hours to spare, we’d love to hear from you! Send our Executive Director, Wendy Mahaney, an email at email@example.com to get the conversation started.
