We’re looking for passionate people to join our growing team…

passionate people

Our dedicated team is constantly working to amplify our local impact in service of our mission, and we need your help. If you are looking for rewarding opportunities where you can influence local policy and make Saratoga Springs a greener, more sustainable community, please get in touch with us. Thank you!

Sustainable Saratoga is a volunteer-driven organization – we rely almost entirely on dedicated citizens to implement our initiatives, from planting trees to advocating for affordable housing to organizing community events like Saratoga Recycles Day. Check out the volunteer opportunities. See something you are passionate about? Sign up as a volunteer today or email info@sustainablesaratoga.org for more information.

Join one of our committees. Please take a look at our individual project area pages to learn more about our current efforts: Zero Waste, LandUse, Urban Forestry, Pollinators, and Climate & Energy.

Do you want to get involved but don’t have a lot of spare time? Help out for a few hours by volunteering to staff a table at an event! We need volunteers to help us raise awareness about what we do at events like the Farmers’ Market and festivals. We need volunteers to participate in children’s events and lead sustainability-themed activities. We also need volunteers for our larger events, such as Tree Toga, Saratoga Recycles Day and Repair Cafe. Just let us know you are interested.

Do you like to plan events or fundraise? We can always use help with this important job.

Are you tech-savy? We sometimes need help behind the scenes.

  • Videography: Do you like to create and/or edit videos?
  • Communications: Do you enjoy writing content for websites or social media? These are key tools for keeping the community informed and mobilizing our supporters.

If you’re looking to put your skills to use for a good cause and have a few hours to spare, we’d love to hear from you! Fill out our volunteer form, or send our Executive Director, Wendy Mahaney, an email at info@sustainablesaratoga.org to get the conversation started.
